It will lean primarily on the Word of God with insights and practical application from the instructor, books, and other materials. (2 Peter 3:16). This "solid food is for the mature—for those whose senses have been trained to distinguish between good and evil." (Heb. 5:14) The instructor will teach and counsel from her personally held theological position while respecting differing positions, so long as those positions are not plainly at odds with the Bible and/or do not endanger victims of abuse.
