Thank you for your prayers and support for Clarity in Action Ministries.

The Biblical Victim Care Course starts in just a few days (September 5).  We have enough interest to hold both an afternoon (1-3 p.m.) and evening (7-9 p.m.) class. If you or a member of your church is planning to attend, it’s time to register.  Click here for details and here to register. The topics (scope and sequence) for the 12-week course is as follows:

  • Lesson 1: Biblical Counseling Basics
  • Lesson 2: Crying Out as a People Helper
  • Lesson 3: Theology of Suffering for People Helpers
  • Lesson 4: Trusting God as a People Helper
  • Lesson 5: Marriage
  • Lesson 6:  Dynamics of Domestic Abuse/Domination
  • Lesson 7: Obedience as a People Helper
  • Lesson 8: Important First Steps for Victim Care
  • Lesson 9: Responding to a Disclosure of Domestic Abuse
  • Lesson 10: Biblical Principles Part 1
  • Lesson 11: Biblical Principles Part 2
  • Lesson 12: Practical Considerations

We will have a booth at PeaceWorks Live! in Charleston, West Virginia, September 7-8. Please stop and introduce yourself.  PeaceWorks was founded by Chris Moles, a pastor and biblical counselor who helps churches and families confront the evil of domestic violence and promotes healthy, God-honoring, relationships. PeaceWorks Live! is a training conference to educate the Church in domestic abuse prevention and intervention.

One of Clarity’s long-term goals is to provide financial assistance through local churches whose leadership have attended Light in the Darkness Training and taken the Biblical Victim Care Course. We are working out the details with a desire to train individuals to see souls and meet needs with the resources God provides.
